Description

Consistent uphill for the first 45 minutes, then lots of steep up and down followed by an exhilirating run down the gully. Shuttle riders need not apply.

Directions:

Turn left off of Westsyde Road at the end of the four lane (Ida Lane), drive to the end of the pavement and park. Be prepared for UP! Keep right until the last fork, then take the last left. At the bottom of the first brief downhill, follow the single track to your right. This switches back up the side of the mount. When you're level again, watch for the trail UP to the crest of the hill on your right. Follow the single track along the ridgeline and be prepared for some steeps. Keep a sharp eye for the faint twin track on your left just before a steep uphill. It fades down the hill and will eventually drop you at the north end of the lake. Ride around the west side of the lake, up the hill and straight away down the twin track. Follow the trail past the cattleguard and down the twisting gully back to the main twin track and down to the truck
