Regarding trail Spruston Road to Timberland Lake near Nanaimo, BC

Hi there, my boyfriend and I tried to do the hike from Spruston Rd. today and we found that it's very difficult to get from the ridge to the lake. I am studying the google earth images and not even able to get my bearings, because it looks totally different in person. Do you have any suggestions for finding a way to the lake from the original ridge trail? Thanks |
