Hi Millnt, Depends on just how out of shape you are! It's a really nice trail hike but the elevation gain is pretty high. I think even if your fitness is sketchy you could do it, but just take your time going up and bring lots of water/lunch and budget for a full day. I say go for it. Regards,

I agree, it gains a lot of elevation, but we met hundreds of different people of all shapes and sizes heading up to see the larches in Sep't... I agree, take your time and brink lots of food and water and you'll do great! It is definately worth the trip.
