Regarding trail Garibaldi / Black Tusk near Squamish, BC
http://www.trailpeak.com/trail-Garibaldi-Black-Tusk-near-Squamish-BC-263
Hi there, I've heard 2 answers to this question when asking friends and reading hiking guide books ... yes and no. So I thought I'd better find a forum. Can this be done in say a 10 hour round trip? We are planning on going this Thurs and only have one day. We are both experienced, fit hikers. Can anyone shed some light? I read that one person ran to the lake and back in about 2 hours. We would likely hike up to the top and do a light jog much of the way down. Any advice is welcome! Also, how about foot wear this time of year. Gortex Solomon high ankle hikers or low top day hikers? Thanks! |
