The trail starts from the Shark Mountain parking lot and follows an old road for 3.6 KM.
At this point you are at the junction to Watridge Lake and Mt Assiniboine.
Hike towards Watridge Lake a tenth of a KM and turn left onto the Karst Springs trail.
The trail passes over a marshy area, with Log Walks, and then proceeds uphill to the Karst Springs viewing platform at 4.6 KM out. Several Rapids / Falls viewpoints are along this trail.

Directions:

Follow the Spray Lakes Road (Hwy 742) from Canmore or from Highway 40 to the junction to Shark Mountain parking. The road in is about 5 KM in off Hwy 742.
