Granny's Trail is on Mt. Fromme on Vancouver's North Shore. It's a technical old school trail coming off Mountain Hwy between the fifth and sixth switch-back corner just above Expresso. The entrance is marked by a large rock, and is shared with the entrance to Upper Crippler.

Granny's has many slippery roots, narrow lines, rough rock roll overs and stunts to negotiate, and requires intermediate to advanced riding skills.

The trail is not as often ridden as many on Fromme, so it's easy in some places to lose the trail. A few hundred metres in, make sure you take the hard right. This takes you back up the hill a short while, after which you will see a couple of signs nailed to trees in on the left showing that you are on the right track.

A little over halfway down you have the option of a variant finish on Lower Oil Can which can be seen forty metres in on the right.

The end of the trail, just before the BP trail, is marked by a series of gap jumps and other stunts, a fun place to while away some time honing your skills. It drops you out on the Baden Powell Trail, with Digger on you right, and Lower Crippler on your left.

Granny's is a fun follow on from Upper Oil Can or Seventh Secret higher up on the mountain.
