A nice hike along an old road to a rocky lookout point above the valley. The south side of the lookout area is a steep cliff that drops into the green farmlands below. This is an easy walk to reach some great views of the Telkwa ranges near Houston.

Directions:

Drive west on hwy 16 past Houston for about 15km. Once you are past the Irrigation lake picnic site, the next left turn is the Barret Hat road. Turn left here and follow it to a 4 way junction, park here. The trail is the road that continues straight ahead (it can be driven for another km or so).

Love your posts, but several of your trail should be in the Houston section not Smithers.
Morice Mountain and China knows would be the others.

We have a local site with trails and map check us out houstonhikers.ca
