The Knee Knacker is n annual 50km (30 mile) mountain trail running race in Vancouver's North Shore mountains. The route follows the Baden-Powell Centennial Trail from the West to the East, starting from near Horseshoe Bay and ending in Deep Cove. With 8000 feet of elevation gain, and 8300 feet of descent, this race is only for those with strong legs and lungs and a stubbornness to complete one of the toughest races in North America.

Directions:

  • Take Caulfield Exit #4 off Hwy 99
  • Turn left onto Westport road
  • At the 4-way stop go straight through and follow Westport road for about 1? km
  • Follow Westport under the highway and park in the small gravel lot on your right-hand side (there is a bike path and Trans-Canada Trail sign in the parking lot)
