It's known to most people as the Deep Creek Trail. The path is mostly well packed earth with some rock and has been well maintained. There is one point in the trail which should be rated as difficult-extreme depending on lack of experience, physical condition and gear.

The trail includes several viewpoints, and there are a couple of wooden benches along the way to take a load off and enjoy the scenery. I would suggest bringing a camera and/or binoculars. Wildlife sightings such as eagles, deer, bears, cougars, and mountain goats are rare but possible. Bring along a snack and drinks as you will get a vigorous workout from a couple of hills and rock walls. There are a couple points along the trail that you need to use common sense because they have been getting washed away by the creek and there may be nothing underneath your feet if you stand too close to the edge.

If you are looking for a quick paced workout, this trail can be completed in about an hour with some jogging. Or if you are looking for a nice slow walk, you could be looking at about 2.5 hours.

Directions:

From downtown Quesnel, head West over the Fraser River and keep on that road for about 20 minutes. You'll come to Narcosli Creek where you can park near a couple of picnic tables, garbage can and an outhouse(this is the only one). The trailhead is just across the road.
