Downside Pretty difficult to travel during spring. Creek thaws out and uncovered, so no sking, and the snow is avalanche prone (more than usual). Requires some skill to ascend to in the winter. Comment Awesome trip. Made it to the bowl at the bottom (commonly refered to as the moustrap) before we turned around and went back down the othe wheeler hut. Great trip! Note, we bootpacked in, and there is a fair bit of snow left in the valley and it is very unstable. So watch yourself if you go early like we did.
