Climb to the top of the Williams Fork Range above Colorado's Blue River Valley. Enjoy stunning views of the rugged Gore Range to the West.
The trail is well marked and climbs steadily through mixed meadows, Lodgepole forest and Aspen to the treeline ridge at 12,000 feet.
Watch for Elk, Mule Deer, Black Bear and Mountain Lion along the way.
Directions:
Take I70 west one hour from Denver to Silverthorne Exit. Travel north on Route 9 eight miles to Forest Rd. Turn right and follow signs to trailhead parking.
