Description

EnglishVery steep rocks that zig zag through creeks and trees. The view at the summit is incredible. Incroyable!

Directions:

Go to St-Aimé des Lac at Charlevoix and follow the directions to Le Parc des Hautes Gorges de la Riviere Malbaie.

The final altitude is more than 1000meter which is pretty good east of the rockies. Downside This is a difficult trail where you climb 800m on 4,5 km which means a lot of people abandon on their way up. Also, bring water as the one found in the stream might contain the guardia virus. Comment The Parc des Hautes-Gorges de la Riviere Malbaie is a great place to be. Besides that trail, there is great canoeing to do. Please note that the only way to circulate in the park is by bus (which is really great by the way) so you need to park at the entrance. Also, here's a tip: there is a nice camping at the other end of the park. You need to backpack for 8km to get there so there isn't a lot of people there :)
