Located along the Brandywine River, Alapocas Woods is an oasis at the edge of the bustling city. Escape from the nearby urban environment to this forested retreat, home to native plants and abundant wildlife. Because the park is situated between the Piedmont and coastal plain zones, you will see spectacular geologic formations like nowhere else in Delaware.
