A nice walk beside the BX Creek. Several bridge crossings and steep stairs. North-East end of trail has a side trail to go down and see the BX Falls. Approx 1 hour walk. Suitable for families, also a great trail running path. 3km 1-way. Parking available at both ends.
Directions:
From Vernon, take Silver Star Rd. East (48th Ave becomes Silver Star Rd). Just past the BX School, turn right onto Star Rd. Sign and parking at trailhead on the right just before turning left up the hill. Alternatively, park at the top of the trail: Continue up Silver Star Rd another 2km, take a right on Tillicum Rd. Parking is on the right, just after the hard right hand turn (about 1km off Silver Star Rd).

Questionas you walk the trail there are about 15 4x4 posts with numbers on them. we can't figure out what they are for. they are not distance posts?ANSWERS are in this forum: number posts
