This is a short walk along the west side of the Holmes(Beaver) River with views of a small waterfall.
The trail was flooded in the spring of 2007 and has some rough spots but is mostly dry by the summer.
The waterfalls are quite impressive in the spring and you can also camp near the falls on the other side of the river,
where BC Forest Service has provided a nice recreation site with picnic tables and several shady camping spots.
There is parking on the north side of highway 16 about 5 minutes east of McBride. The trail starts on the west side of the
bridge over the Beaver River.
Closest town is McBride, where you can stay at the comfortable cabins in a secluded spot above the Fraser river, minutes from
the trails at Beaver Creek Lodge with fabulous views of all
the surrounding peaks.
