Cave is only a cave in the winter when the ice is frozen.
In the summer it is only a small stream not a waterfall.
It is a frozen waterfall with a small hole in it to crawl into and get behind.
Editor's note: From the pix, could be a fun ice climb location.
Directions:
Take the ravine road from Kredels in hampton (just past the green bridge).Go to the very end and take a right on the upper midland road. There will be some large fields on your left. Keep going until there is a dirt road on your left take it as far up the hill as you can. Park at the very top of the hill. there will be a trail on your left going into the woods.(if you can't drive up the hill park as far up as you can and then walk)Take this trail until you see a sign on your right hand side saying ice caves with an arrow on it take this trail (if you keep going straight and dont take this right turn it will take you to a small cabin) You will see a giant sheet of ice on your left hand side.
ENJOY!

UpsideIts awesome. Its not a boring walk at all! I Love it! I go all the time! Its always nice even in may there is still some of the Ice there!
DownsideNothing at all its amazing!
CommentThey aren't the Belleisle Ice Caves because they are actually in Midland... The directions arent that good because you can not take the Ravine Rd by the Kredels anymore because that road is washed out.. I Live at the other end 2 minutes from the ice caves!

UpsideAn amazing site to see a wonderful ice cave! Not a hard hike but we drove all the way to the top of the hill so it was easy and a wonderful place to see!
DownsideDifficult to get in behind cave beacause it was slippery bring some sand or salt for foot grip!
CommentThis is an amazing winter wonder! Not a waterfall during the summer but a great winter hike!
