This is a very beautiful little park in Newport perfect for recreational kiting. It's very popular particularly during the tourist season. Feel free to bring your rec. kite, charcoal, and burgers (the park has built-in grills).
If you do happen to lose your kite, though, make sure you go after it as there have been a few tangled up birds found in the woods.
Also, you can catch some really magnificent sunsets here.
Directions:
Follow Ocean Drive in Newport until you reach a big sign that says Brenton Point. You can't miss it.
