Burnt Rock Mountain gets its name from a forest fire on the summit of the mountain years ago, this fire left the summit bald and rocky. It provides amazing 360 degree views!
Directions:
From Route 100, drive west on North Fayston Road, follow for 4 miles, bear right at the fork, go left onto Big Basin Road, follow for 1.5 miles, trailhead is on the left.
