Very short hike but moderate grades. A view of Squam Lake when the peak is reached. At 0.2 miles you enter a gravel pit and care must be taken to follow the cairns to the left to find the trail entering the woods. This is a nice quick hike for those days where you don't have a lot of time.
Directions:
From NH Rte 3 in Holderness turn onto NH Rte 113 and follow for 1.1 miles, the parking area and trailhead are on the left.
