This is a quick, easy day hike. It's great for escaping the crowds of Cape Cod in the summer. The trail is an in/out hike to an observation deck overlooking Poponessett Bay. The trail is completely flat and mostly on soft dirt turning into sand at the bay. It is 1.1 miles to the observation deck and 1.1 miles backtracking to the parking lot.
Directions:
Take MA 28 to Quinaquissett Ave. Drive 2 miles to Grove Street. Follow to end and take Sanuit road and entrance is on left.
