"The Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area is a 4800 acre day use natural area

located just south west of the city of Calgary in Alberta, Canada. The Cross

Conservation Area is dedicated to protecting habitat and providing space for

native species of wildlife; offering conservation education programs

(particularly to young people) without jeopardizing wildlife and habitat; and

managing human use of the Area through 'entry by appointment only.'"

The Pine Creek trail is walk along a grass cover trail through rolling hills with

varied terrain.

Note: they do limit the number of people per day.

There is a donation fee requested for parking and use of the area for the day.

Directions:

Highway 22X west from Calgary Just past the Calgary south on Range Rd 24

also know as 160th street.
