Comment Visited (Andrea) this in 2007 with brother and sister-in-law. They added a side trip to attempt a summit but though it was June we ran into snow and turned back after several falls. Did make it around the lake and loved it.

Comment Snow-shoed around the lake Nov 22 and there was 1 1/2 feet of snow. Excellent trail for first time snow-shoeing. It took us 2 1/2 hours with many stops to enjoy the peacefulness and scenery. The people not in snow-shoes appreciated the trail we made for them.
