Etobicoke Creek is one of the many creeks running through Toronto. It has deep ravines and distinctive shale banks. The creek ends in a large recreational area, Marie Curtis Park. It is surrounded by big cliffs and the bottom is solid stone, often covered with smaller rocks. It is full of little fish and crayfish, a sign of purity of water.

Nice trails. Steep and narrow in some areas. Local youngsters' hideaways tucked into the greenery.

There has been talk about a coyote in the trail area near the airport.

Directions:

Mill and Burnamthorpe. Park at Sheridan Garden Center or at the park nearby and walk to the bridge crossing the creek and head north.

Or start anywhere along the Etobicoke Creek.
