Upside- At the very back loop, there is a "Ridge Lookoff". It is a bit off the mapped trails but is well worth the hike! It is not listed on the maps, but is well groomed (besides the one fallen tree we had to crouch beneath). You can see the farm on the highway that you passed right before the parking area. I found that this put into perspective the elevation as well as distance... and the view is incredible! - I found a lady's slipper :) I've never seen one growing in the wild before! - Wildlife: bever dams, birds, squirrels, frogs, fish jumping... - Well constructed bridges as well as a few benches along the way (dedicated to the memory of Luke Berthiume, a local boy who was killed in a car collision) - GeoCahing along the way for all you hunters!
Downside- Some spots are muddy in places so make sure you wear old shoes or ones that you don't mind getting a bit dirty.
CommentAll in all a fantastic trail :)
