Day 1: Pine Cove (End of Hwy 528A), Wolseley Bay, French River. Paddle to "Five Finger Rapids" and "The Little French River". Campsites are available on a number of islands nearby. Hike up the South side of the rapids to a beautiful small lake.
Day 2: Paddle to the head of the "Rainy Rapids", there are 3 sets which are all runable or avoidable by way of short portages (less than 100 meters). Paddle to "Double Rapids" and find a nearby campsite.
Day3: Spend the day exploring the "Blue Chute", Parisien Rapids", "The Ladder" and the wonderful topography that is the French River.
Day 4: Paddle upstream (Virtually no current) to just West of the foot of the "Rainy Rapids" and portage or line up "Big Pine Rapids" (portage is about 100 meters). This is an excellent rapid in which to improve your novice whitewater skills). Paddle to "Little Pine Rapid" were there is an easy carry over or line to the foot of Wolseley Bay. Paddle up Wolseley Bay to your put in point at "Pine Cove".

2 Day trip - leave out "Five Finger" section.
1 Day trip or overnight to "Five Finger" or "Big Pine Rapids"
