Explore the shores of Lake Dillon on groomed cross country ski trails or snowshoe nature trails, in the White River National Forest, under special use permit by the USDA, FS. 40 Km of beginning to expert terrain groomed daily for classic and freestyle cross country skiing and 13 Km of snowshoe trails that traverse the peninsula of Lake Dillon.
Directions:
Take I-70 West to the Frisco/Breckenridge Exit 203. Travel South on Hwy 9 also called Summit Blvd for two miles past Frisco's Main Street. Go 1/2 mile and make a left turn off Hwy 9 into the Peninsula Recreation Area to the free parking lots and Nordic Log Lodge.
