State Forest maps show a loop trail here, but the blazes and remnants of most of the trail are long gone ? un-maintained. What remains is a 1-mile trail that used to be a fire lane and old logging road, through a mixed hardwood forest to a large pond. You'll have this forest all to yourself!
A map and details for this trail is available in the guidebook "Take A Hike - Family Walks in New York's Finger Lakes Region," available through EMS.
Directions:
From Skaneateles take Route 41A south. Turn right onto County Route 359, then left on Route 38A. Turn right on Cream Hollow Road. After 1.2 miles, turn left onto Quarry Road. The trailhead is 0.8 mile on the left.
