On this hike you will snake through hardwood forests, hemlock groves, and you will make a trip to Maryland?s Centennial Tree.

Directions:

Take exit 4 off of I-68, about 40 miles west of Cumberland, drive south on MD 42, follow for 8 miles, keep right following US 219, follow for 7.4 miles, Turn onto Mayhew Inn Road, follow for 4.3 miles, bear left onto Oakland-Sang Run Road, turn right onto Herrington Manor/Swallow Falls Road, follow this road for 1.4 miles, turn right onto Cranesville Road, follow for 1 mile, turn left onto dirt road Snaggy Mountain Road, follow for .5 miles to parking area.
