A natural paradise, minutes from Boston! Part of a 1,000-acre park, Great Brook offers

machine-grooming through pristine forests, past beautiful streams and ponds, and around the fields of a

working dairy farm. Trails groomed with tracks and skating lane include all ability levels, open 12/1-3/20

when snow conditions permit. A huge inventory of rental equipment has your size. On Tues. & Thurs.

evenings, lanterns light a mile-long loop for the chance to admire the winter sky and enjoy a truly unique

experience. Return to the lodge, a renovated cow barn, for hot chocolate and a seat by the wood stove.

Driving Directions

From Route 128 take Exit 31B. Follow Route 225 west for 7 miles to the Carlisle center rotary, then

turn right on Lowell Street (following the sign to Chelmsford). The ski touring center is 2 miles ahead on

the right.

From Route 2 exit at signs for Concord center and continue to the downtown rotary. At the Colonial Inn,

take Lowell Street north fo 5 miles to Carlisle center. Turn left on Lowell Street at the rotary (following

the sign to Chelmsford). The ski touring center is 2 miles ahead on the right.

From Interstate 495 take Exit 34. Follow Route 110 west for ) .6 miles to Chelmsford center, continue

on Route 4 south for 1 mile, then fork right on Concord Road. The ski touring center is 2 miles ahead on

the left.
