An ATV path to a local swimming hole. I've rated this as easy as it is if you stay on the road/ATC trail but when you arrive you may want to explore the area which will mean steep climbs and careful footwork. I went past the gate as it was open at the time but just before the gate there is a path on the left which might also take you there. This is in Nova Scotia Power area so do mind any sign-age you come across. It is a local hang out and though no one was there when I visited there is certainly evidence of lots of visitors. Also, don't jump from the waterfall, it's not deep enough.

Take Deep Hollow road from New Minas to White Rock, turn left onto White Rock road, continue to Benjamin Bridge and turn right on Black River road, turn right again after crossing the Gasperu River, and follow this road to a dirt road on the right. This is a power company road, so use at your own discresion. Do NOT park or enter by the cemetery past the dirt road, as that is private property.

Although water cannot be "owned" ALL of the property leading to and around said pools ARE PRIVATE PROPERTY. There are MULTIPLE NO TRESPASSING & NO PARKING signs & barriers posted for kms.
RCMP have been notified of the influx in trespassing and threats from trespassers, the influx on littering and have agreed to increase their monitoring throughout the areas, especially on the weekends. Vehicles will, and have been, towed at owners' expense.
The falls are not safe and the wildlife is increasing due to excessive litter.

I was wondering if you could post exact coordinates to this place. I found it a long time ago but I didn't have a gps at the time with me so it would be nice to have that.

By jonniePosted By: jonnie  - Mon Aug 29 09:28:41 UTC 2011 Not Rated Question Hey, Im building a website with all kinds of stuff related to the Annapolis Valley and would love if you could add some of the hikes you have done. The site is www.annapolisvalleylocalfied.ca. You can add listings straight from the page after registering and of course it is free. Im also looking for people to write little article/blog type things about their areas of interest.

Let me know if you can help in any way.

By localresPosted By: localres  - Wed Sep 08 16:51:11 UTC 2010 Not Rated Upside The three pools are absolutely beautiful Downside Can be dangerous Comment I understand that everyone wants to see it but people need to have some respect for the property owners. People are blocking an elderly lady's driveway, driving on people's lawns. What if the lady was ill and needed an ambulance? you are on private property, the disrespect is disgusting.
