A Class 3+ run with an optional class 4+ waterfall. A classic Canadian Rockies river run with fast, cold water. Many rapids anywhere from 400 to 1000 meters in length. There are always great play-spots here; where they are depends on the water level.
Directions:
Highway 16 crosses the Holmes River 11 km west of McBride. Head up the forest road for 15 km, cross the bridge and put in on the river’s right side. If you want to run the falls, take out is by the highway 16 bridge. If the falls are not your idea of fun, take out at the Forestry Service Camp site, a couple of km up the Forestry Road.
Sorry directions weren't available. Please check the bottom of the description.

UpsideMy rafting company Stellar Descents rafts this run. It has been great season on the Holmes (Beaver) river. This is the best whitewater rafting run in the Jasper area.
Commentwww.stellardescents.com if you have any questions or want to raft with us we also raft on the Fraser River.
