Follows Old Quartz Hill Railroad. Yo-yo hike. 4 miles out. 4 miles back.
At the one mile marker the Lower Sacramento Ditch Trail cuts off this trail and goes for 3 miles to end on the Walker Mine Road a ways east of the north trailhead. The map shows a connector trail before the creek crossing to make a loop.
Directions:
South trailhead is in Quartz Hill Road just east of Comstock Lane. North trailhead is on Walker Mine Road.
