A wonderful little trail that takes you down the side of Day Mountain to the ocean between Otter Cliffs and Seal Cove on MDI. The cliffs are a breeding ground for many animals. In the winter you can see tracks of almost any land mammal in the state of Maine except maybe a bear or moose.
Directions:
Depending on where you come from. 95N or S to Rt 3. Follow Rt. 3 through Bar Harbor towards Seal Harbor. There is a small parking lot on the left for Day Mt. Walk towards the downhill trail and follow till the ocean.
