Directions:
From jct. with ME 16 in Stratton, drive north on ME 27 for 16.8 mi. (3.1 mi. northwest from the Snow Mtn. road entrance). Turn right onto the wide dirt logging road, Gold Brook Rd, which runs parallel to Gold Brook. Dirve 9.4 miles to wide logging road on the right. Turn right on this road and go 0.4 mi. to a clearing on the left with a large cairn.
