Every year, the Parc d'Environnement Naturel of Sutton organizes a romantic St-Valentine's night snowshoeing expedition on one of their trails.
For a small 9$, you get to climb under a full moon, drink a glass of champagne, eat a delicious chocolate fondue under the snowy sky! (oh yeah and watch the full moon above the snowy landscape!)
Other than St-Valentine's, the trail is fantastic and can be done on foot during the summer as well.
This trail is one amongst many others in the Environmental Park of Sutton. During the summer, there is a refuge and a couple of camping spots available at the summit.
Directions:
Take the 139 up till Sutton.
The follow the instructions for the downhill skiing facility until you reach the altitude 520 parking.

UpsideEasy hike to the lake, nice relaxing view.
CommentThe trail continues on to Roundtop Summit (harder climb). The view is definitely worth it from up there. Looking back at the lake from the top, it looks tiny!
