A classic XC trail located in the Ledgeview Mtn Bike area in Abbotsford. This trail has everything: loads of flow, nasty rooty sections, log rides and short uphill grunts, which combine to provide a real burner of a workout. A lot of old school fun which is great to do as a group ride, to get the intensity level kicked into high gear.
Directions:
After parking at the main area, 200 meters past the Ledgeview Golf Course parking lot ride the 3.5 km uphill to the top, rest awhile, and decide whether you want to get onto the trail
A. Quick route: go left and ride to the bottom of the steep trail (about 50 meters), turn right for another 200 meters until you see a small sign on your left.
B. Long way. Go to your right and follow the long flowy trail past the view point up a short climb and in about 10 minutes in total you will see a sign on your right.

UpsideThe XC guys really like this one.
DownsideSome stunts near the end have been destroyed in the past couple of months.
CommentThe more you ride outside of Abbotsford, the less interesting this trail will seem.

UpsideI go to Summit Pacific College (Old Clayburn Rd.), so to the Tower from the college is about an hour ride. I love being able to ride straight from the college. Mixed Bag itself is a killer trail, a great workout if you go the long way around, and there are some fun little jib-jabs in there.
DownsideIt's NASTY when it's wet!! Just like most other trails hahaha.
CommentWell I WAS having a great ride until i dropped off the end of a log crooked and my rear derailleur caught on it and smashed into 4 peices. That was a long walk down. Good ride though!

Upsideawesome afterwork trail. i take this one to finish off little buttofuco. i like the log drop. good steep sections love hittin' the little 3 footer in the "valley". nice "moguls" too.
Downsidecareful on some of the harmless looking "little jumps" as you go down, they can throw you out farther than you thought!
