This is the easiest trail in Golden Ears Provincial Park. It is an easy 1 hour (2.7 km) walk along Gold Creek to Lower Falls. The rocky beach about 20 minutes in is a beautiful spot to rest and relax. About halfway to the falls, part of the trail has been washed out and re-routed. If you stop at the bank of the creek and turn to look southwest, you get a great view of the mountains overlooking the creek.
Directions:
From Vancouver, take the Lougheed Highway (Hwy 7), and turn left onto Dewdney Trunk Road. Turn left on 232nd and then follow the signs to Golden Ears Provincial Park.

UpsideBeautiful hike, nice scenery, and very easily accessible.
DownsideBusy, but people were nice (except some guys who climbed the barriers and were horsing around right on top of the falls)
CommentI uploaded the GPS data. It is scetchy, but you definitely don't need it for the actual hike. Maybe it helps you find the parking lot.

UpsideAmazing view of Gold Creek during entire hike. Well maintained trail, the rocky beach is spectacular, and there are many places to cut off the trail to tiny lookouts to the water.
DownsideTrail has slight muddy bits.
CommentIf at the Gold Creek parking lot, you take the Canyon trail, there is a section about 1km in where you can cross back to the Falls and take this trail as your return. Better views/access to the falls area and more scenic trail.
