NTS Map:92F12. A nice waterfall that is covered in ferns and other rainforest type vegetation. Very similar to waterfalls in the Columbia River Gorge. The trail is easy with a bit of steepness. Nice old growth trees along the path. In the spring the waterfall would be roaring and must be really beautiful.
Take the Island highway north to Campbell River, hang a left onto highway 28. Then take Westmin Road south to Lupin Falls parking lot. About 1.5 hours from Courtenay.

UpsideEasy manageable hike. Beautiful scenic drive up. The falls were gorgeous. DownsideHate seeing beware of vehicle break-ins in the parking lot. Seriously, what's wrong with people. CommentLoved it, even the drive was beautiful.

UpsideBeautiful multi-tiered ribbon falls. CommentA pleasant stroll through the old growth. Nice and cool on a hot summer day.
