Nice park, close to the city. Some nice hiking with views of Boston. Mountain biking is limited to one marked loop. Bikers are urged not to deviate from this path due to the tenuous relationship between MTBers and some of the park's advocacy groups. Basically the message is, "stick to the loop; don't get biking banned from the Fells." It's a fun ride with varying degrees of difficulty from fire roads to some human-built bridges. It can get pretty crowded at times due to the compact size and densely populated area, but it's a nice escape. Get out there on weekdays if you can. Oh, and there's some nice, tranquil kayaking on the adjacent Spot Pond.
