This is the longest, most strenuous, most scenic direct route to the summit of Monadnock. At the halfway point, the trail becomes rough and rocky, running near the ridgecrest with many minor ups and downs, but offers many excellent views from bare ledges.

Recommended by AMC's Southern New Hampshire Trail Guide, available at local Eastern Mountain Sports stores.

Directions:

Follow NH 101 (Main St.) west from the flagpole in Dublin village for 0.4 mi., then turn left onto Lake Rd. The trail (no sign) leaves the road left in another 0.4 mi., opposite a log cabin on the pond, and 75 yd. east of where the road reaches the shore.

Sorry directions weren't available. Please check the bottom of the description.
