There are a couple easy hikes to do, probably best for dog walking, hiking with children, or if you just want to walk a bit. I believe that Moores Pond boasts to have the oldest mill in New England. The small pond and damn provide waterfall like sounds. There is a covered bridge which house some chairs to relax on. One of the hikes you will see right when you enter the park on your right. There is a large hay field and what looks to be an old logging road. The old logging road is on your right (the first hike). The second you will see after you follow the pavement after parking. Go past the covered bridge and continue up hilll. Another neat thing about this park is that there is a chestnut tree reserve.

Directions:

Take 119N heading toward paxton and ugbridge. You will pass Worcester State. At first stop sign take a left. Follow road until you get to down town paxton. At first light bear left , passing the police station. After about 8 minutes you will see a sign for Moores Pond on your right.
