This trail passes starts at the campground in Glacier National Park. Follow the signs for Abbott ridge and Marion Lake. This trail leads to a fantastic ridge walk with exposure. Hikers can continue from the end of the trail onto the summit of Mount Abbott for fantastic views of the surrounding glaciers and peaks in Glacier National park.
Directions:
The Trans canada Highway travels right through Glacier National Park. Look for the Illecillewaet Campground which is approximately 3 km west of the Summit of Rogers Pass. Park at the camp registration area and follow the signs.
