Great trail for the whole family. Starts at Moody Pond and gains about 900 feet in elevation. Trail through the woods is a great 1-mile trail run or a short hike. Good for a day out with the kids.
Directions:
Take a right at NBT Bank off route 86 west in Saranac Lake. At the railroad tracks take a left and follow Pine Street to a stop sign. Continue a short distance on Pine Street and take the first right onto Forest Hill Ave. and follow to the northeast corner of Moody Pond where you will see a DEC trail sign.
