From Tipoli Road this hike was a lot of fun. Novemebr 22, 2008 and it was cold and very windy. An inch or so of snow at trail head and progressively more as I headed towards the summit. 2-4 inches in spots at summit, most snow had been blown away. No views today as it was cloudy and snow was falling. There is a good mix of steep and flat sections. This week had been very cold and there was alot of ice. Traction is highly recommended, I used spikes. I'll go back to see the views.
Directions:
Rte 93 to exit 31 Tripoli Road. Tripoli Road east for approx 6.5 miles to parking lot on north side of road. Signs will indicate that it is parking for Mt Osceola Trail.
