On 11/28/08 there was 2-3 inches of snow at the trail head with progressively more as I ascended. 12-18 inches at the summit. The trail had been broken by a previous hiker but it was still very slow going. No views as it was a snowy day. I would definetly go back and do this on a clear day.
Directions:
Rte 302 to Crawford Notch. I paked on the side of Mt Clinton road but there is parking at the AMC center and train depot across the street.
