Note: One of our editors had already added Mt. Temple, which you can see here, however, this entry came with better GPS track, pictures, and, a brave soul smoking a cigar at the top (something momentous we hope as opposed to the ritual at every peak). So we allowed this post.

UpsideGreat fun up and down, great views. DownsideLarch valley/sentinal pass (thought beautiful, quite long and boring and busy) CommentBeware of snow ice and melt water. Made things pretty slick. If you're good and fast (and maybe a bit crazy) you can get up and down in like 5 hours. I climbed solo but wasn't worried as I met up with a few climbing parties along the way.

UpsideLooking for a climbing group to Mt Temple for Sep 18. You can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Pls note Mt Temple is not a hike so if you are new to the rockies you should get Kane's scrambles book and start with easy scrambles like Yamnuska or Burgueau before attempting Mt Temple.
