This path winds its way through the undeveloped portions of the park. It is a great way to get away right near the city while still having amenities near by, like picnic areas. Make sure to stay on marked trails as there are many shorter unmarked trails.
At 1000 acres, Oregon Ridge is the largest county-run park in Baltimore. The park is still a favorite for hiking, climbing, running and hang gliding.
There are picnic and play areas and a large amphitheater where the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra performs in the summer. The Oregon Ridge Hot Air Balloon Festival is famous for colorful balloons that cover the sky.
