The Telemark trails are used for XC skiing with separate snowshoeing trails running alongside and away from the ski trails. I have snowshoed up here quite a bit and decided to see what it would be like to hike my favorite trail, Panorama Ridge.
The trail was pretty easy to follow as they were already clearly marked for snowshoeing; however parts were pretty overgrown and there was also deadfall so we had to do some serious bushwacking to get through. Overall a great little hike but I would recommend sticking to snowshoeing on this trail for the most part.
Directions:
Turn up Glenrosa off Highway 97 in Westbank. Follow the road up towards Crystal Mountain, and you will see the sign for Telemark XC skiing. Turn left and park there and hike or snowshoe in.
