This property is managed by the Wildlands Trust and has a great variety of trails and terrain for the hiker, biker or avid dog walker. Access to this location is located off of Elm St. right near the Hanover\Pembroke line. There are 3 yes 3 parking lots. There is a two car lot on the Hanover\Hanson side with the trail access up the street on the Hanover side the entrance can be tough to see but there are two telephone poles across the entrance.

The other two lots are on the Pembroke side with a paved lot and a dirt turnaround on the other side of the river. The Hanover side of the river is a flat straight shot through the woods. The Pembroke side of the ford is the true gem of this area. a small open field makes for a great place for lunch overlooking the ford. Once into the woods there is one main trail that branches off into a number of scenic smaller jaunts. You can choose to follow the river trail which takes you over one of New England's best features.....rock walls.

Whether biking or hiking, be careful around blind corners and show proper trail manners to others. Also be careful where you walk as a number of trails come out onto private property.

This area can easily fill an entire day as you explore the various trails and link your routes together to get that epic feel. Have fun and enjoy
