Pine Hill Park is located within the Rutland city forest on the north west end. Pine Hill is a network of trails rated Intermediate/Moderate. You can ride powerlines, access 2 ponds and also a few overlooks. Trail builders have just gained permission to connect trails to town of Proctor. You can download a map of the trails if you search "Pine Hill Park Rutland, Vt.
Directions:
Pine Hill Park is accessed through the Giorgetti Athletic Complex. Turn onto Crescent St. from Route 7 and travel approximately 3/4 mile. Turn right onto Preville Ave immediately after you go over a small bridge. At the end of Preville turn left onto Oak St. Extension and then take an immediate right into the Giorgetti Athletic Complex upper parking lot. The entrance to Pine Hill Park is on the opposite side of the parking lot as the entrance.
